Cook'n Recipe Organizer Software Review & Giveaway - Ends 6/28

Anytime I saw a recipe I liked in a magazine or online, I would rip it out or print it and keep it in a looseleaf book. The problem is that I now have tons of books full of recipes that are taking up tons of space.

Even worse is the fact that when I go looking for a specific recipe I have to go through every book, and half the time I can't even find it! I wanted a way to save and organize all those recipes and found just what I was looking for with The Cook'n Recipe Organizer Software.

One of the best features is the ability to "capture" any recipe. If you are online and find a recipe that you want to save, with just one click you can import it into your organizer.

Another of my favorite features is the ability to scale the recipe size. So many times I see recipes that make servings for 6, 8,10 and sometimes more, when I just want one serving! Simply change the setting and the software automatically corrects the ingredient amounts.

These are just some of the other things it can do:

New Website Features Recipes for Store Brand Products

If you are looking for cost-saving recipes for lunch, dinner or desserts, there's a new website, StoreBrandsUSA.com, that can help. The website features video recipes that use store brands as the ingredients. Store brands can be bought at considerable savings versus national brand products. The recipe videos on the website were developed by Chef Diane Kniss. Each recipe shows her preparing the dish step-by-step. In addition to viewing ingredients and preparation online, a copy of the recipe can be requested through the website. Some of the recipe available include Thai Vegetable Stir Fry with Noodles, Strawberry Tart and Chicken Pot Pie. New recipes are added every month.

The website also offers a variety of interactive features including informative videos about who makes store brands, a shopping calculator that shows the savings by purchasing store brands compared to national brands, videos for home and health tips, and a zip code store locator for finding quality store brands near you.

For more information on the website and to view the recipes visit www.storebrandsusa.com.
