Water, the Great Anti-Ager

Water is the greatest anti-aging substance around. Healthy cells retain water, aging ones weaken, and their membranes are damaged by free radicals and inflammation allowing vital water to seep out. When they deflate, the havoc is widespread affecting blood pressure, tissue health, and your complexion.

Choose foods wisely: Almonds, avocados, and salmon provide hydration; beans, lentils, and soy foods help build connective tissue.
Eat foods as close to their natural state as possible: water and nutrients are lost with cooking.
Drink lots of purified water: eat plenty of water-packed fresh fruits and vegetables.
Have one or two eggs every week: they're an excellent source of protein, vitamins A and B-12, folic acid, and lecithin (a major component of cell membranes). Take dietary supplements daily to ensure appropriate nutrient levels are maintained.
